Atonement
In the Old Testament no healing could take place until the blood was sprinkled on the mercy seat. So the priests would slay the bull and sprinkle his blood. Lev 14:15-20 Then the priest shall take some of the log of oil and pour it into the palm of his own left hand and dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand and sprinkle some oil with his finger seven times before the LORD. And some of the oil that remains in his hand the priest shall put on the lobe of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot, on top of the blood of the guilt offering. And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed. Then the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD. The priest shall offer the sin offering, to make atonement for him who is to be cleansed from his uncleanness. And afterward he shall kill the burnt offering. And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean. Christ made atonement for us. He IS our Passover Lamb. His blood is on the mercy seat. We are completely complete in Christ. We have been completely paid for with the pure blood of Christ. It is finished. He did it all, we just have to claim what is rightfully ours. Do you really think the Father would do less for His own sons and daughters? If Christ, being our atonement for you in any way, is a vague concept for you, may I suggest you watch the Ark and the Blood on You Tube. https://youtu.be/kMHonND3j54 It is 48 minutes long but so worth the journey. Christ did it all so we can be whole in every way. Sent from my iPad
