Imitators of Christ

Who’s lead are we going to follow?  Are we going to follow Christ’s lead or follow men?

1 Th 1:2-6  We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.  For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not only in word, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. You know what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sake.  And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit,

Who is our Lord?  Who are we going to imitate? Christ came so we become the Love of God❣️

God is the God of all grace and He has given us a measure of faith so I think we are just fine❣️

Our truth is staying in Him so we shine through everything.  If we are broken, the world is so easily broken, have we missed the mark?  I am called to shine in hell or high water, it does not matter if things are good or not. We are to Respond in every situation like Christ does❣️We find our identity through the son of God!

Colossians 1: Read all

Col 1:3-8  We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints,  because of the hope laid up for you in heaven. Of this you have heard before in the word of the truth, the gospel, which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and increasing—as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth, just as you learned it from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf  and has made known to us your love in the Spirit.

Col 1:9-12  And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

Col 1:13-14  He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,  in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Ministry does not make you free, knowing Him makes you free.  He puts a heart in me that is indestructible❣️ Read your Bible to be changed,  then speak out of that change. We are to follow and imitate Christ.  Let’s keep straight who we are to follow.  Our hearts belong to him.  Bought and paid for.  Have a wonderful day walking with the Lord.
